One Schizoid Cat Out!

And her black sister may soon follow! Except I think I actually have a little bit of love and sympathy for Shadow.

The schizoid one, on the other hand, I have had enough! We just set up Annabelle's big girl bed last night with new bedding and all. Beautiful!

I come home to the library to find picks in it that I had not noticed the first time. Very bothersome to me! If you've ever been shopping with me you know how anal retentive I am about finding the "perfect" one of anything I buy. I won't go into details about how extreme I am with this compulsive habit.

But, I knew right away which cat was to blame! We haven't put nice bedding on our bed since she became a part of our household approximately 9 years ago because she clawed the original bedding all up in her walking alone! Not to mention her rolling and kicking with her claws.

I can only assume that she was the culprit! And, she about sent me into labor. So, out she went!

I am so irritated about the picks and claw marks in Annabelle's big girl bedding that I am tempted to go buy another $60 quilt set just so it looks pretty for my little girl. And, you know how cheap I am, right?

Do you think the pregnancy is to blame? I don't think so. I think I've just had enough of that crazy cat. She already gives my sweet daughter evil looks! She keeps her distance from everyone but me anyway, so she can now keep her distance in the wild.

Where is Shadow?

We left for Nonnie's house this weekend around 4:00 p.m. on Friday. We met Annabelle's Daddy at Nonnie's house, so Annabelle and I were the last ones to leave the house on Friday.

We decided to spend the night with Nonnie again last night because it was already 8:30 p.m. by the time we got back to Nonnie's house (after dinner) to gather our belongings (including both cars) and head home.

So, we arrived back home to our house around 12:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Much to our surprise, there was clawing and meowing coming from our bedroom closet door! Uh-oh! Guess where we found our black cat, Shadow? You guessed it! She had been locked in the bedroom closet since Friday!

And, would you believe that she did NOT poop or pee all over everything? She pulled down an old table cloth from the very tip top shelf in the closet, and she used that as her litter box. Some pee missed the table cloth and landed on the hardwood floors and some clothes hangers, but it was very easy clean up.

I felt so bad for her being locked in the closet all weekend, but she's not supposed to be in there anyway! Maybe she'll think twice before raiding my closet again.

Apparently, Jezebel (our other cat) tried to save her because two of hubby's white dress shirts had been pulled outside of the closet door. Oddly enough though, they have been growling, hissing and fighting all day long! I suspect this will probably last a few days.
