Annabelle: I'm going to say a prayer to Santa first.
Mommy: Umm. Okay.
Annabelle: Dear Santa. Please bring me a bigger playground for my backyard. I will give my smaller playground to another little kid who needs one. Amen.
Mommy: Would you like to say a prayer to God now?
Annabelle: No.

Oh thank you so much for the laugh!
Santa is, after all, the one who brings things at Christmas. I suspect God is a little too abstract for her yet. Maybe.
