We got approximately 1/2 inch, but it was still beautiful! The roads were icy, and those Yankees (and that is not meant in any derogatory way as I love all of my Yankee friends) from the North still think they can drive in our southern icy conditions despite the fact that we don't have the equipment down here to clear the roads. Most people who live in the Atlanta area are not natives. Most of them are transplants from the North because they learned quickly that Atlanta is an awesome and not so cold and snowy place to live.
And, a few months living in Minnesota last year for work has turned hubby into one of them. Thankfully, he made it to and from work safely.
