Elmo wants to be a duck. Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack!
This is the phrase that the Elmo, dressed as a chicken, uses when Annabelle pushes the button on his foot. She got this Elmo as a Christmas present from Santa Claus. And, she loves him!
The best part of all, she has started imitating Elmo flapping his arms like a chicken within the last week. I was able to snap some photos on Sunday of her trying to flap her arms like a chicken, and they are absolutely hilarious! I will try to get some of these pictures posted to this blog entry tomorrow (in my spare time). Ha! Ha!
She will cock her little head to the side and then hold her little arms up in the air and then she'll balance on one foot and then switch to balancing on the other foot as she dances and flaps her arms like a chicken. She hasn't quite figured out that she needs to tuck her hands under her arms, so she looks like Frankenstein when she tries to flap her arms like a chicken. Too cute!

This reminds me of a scene from Judy Blume's "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" when the younger brother decides to "fly" and he proceeds to jump off the monkey bars at the playground. Better watch your little princess...she might actually think her "wings" work! :-)
