The Sweetest Sounds

The sweetest sounds today came from a two year old in her crib during naptime. She never did lay down and actually take a nap. Instead, I heard her talking to her baby dolls and then I heard her singing. She's just begun to actually start singing, instead of just chanting, over the last month or so, but more so in the last few weeks.

A B C D F G, Q R S, X Y AND Z! Next time Mommy and Daddy sing with meeeee!

And, yes, she does forget the E sometimes. And, of course, we have a long way to go on the other letters in the alphabet, but we'll get there one day!

Old McDonald had farm, EIEIO, and on farm he had pig, EIEIO, with Oink Oink here, Oink Oink dare, EIEIO

The rewards of staying home are absolutely priceless! How many other mothers get to listen to that during naptime?

You really are so blessed! Take advantage of enjoying her, even though there are times she completely exhausts you. That's just natural. She'll be walking the aisle with some little boy being raised by a mother who works right now. Oh no, please not that! Give her a good husband like her Daddy and her Granddaddy and her Uncles. She deserves no less than the best.
